These fog swept streets run crooked
Concrete courtyards without courtiers
Abandoned pools and ill-kept gardens
Harbor no men nor their ghosts
Down corridors in this antique city
My breathless voice echoes, lonely
Longing for grace in the faded murals
But finding the deliverance here malformed
Longing for grace in the faded murals
The frozen saint offers no convalescence
His stare spreads over my skin
And cyan glow scatters across the marble
Longing for grace in the faded murals
But finding the deliverance here malformed
All the wasted years take hold of me
In the reflection of a dried heart mosaic
The warrior-saint stares grieving
From the reflection in a dried heart mosaic
As I'm cleansed in the cathedral's clear blue water
The old man's boreal halo alights the shadows
Like endless, haggard and forgotten stars
Scattered across the long fled heavens
His stare spreads over my skin
And cyan glow scatters across the marble
Longing for grace in the faded murals
But finding the deliverance here malformed
All the wasted years take hold of me
In the reflection of a dried heart mosaic
The warrior-saint stares grieving
From the reflection in a dried heart mosaic
What an absolutely beautiful album! This is what black metal really leads to; beautiful and powerful expressions of anger, mourning, and joy that lead to real change for those suffering! I can’t say enough good things about this album! The huge range of genres is incredible as well! deathmoth829
Vinyl sounds BIG and came with a whole care package from Fiadh, including cool stickers, download codes, a vegan brownie recipe and a squishy cloud toy that my kid loved. <3 But disappointed with no lyric sheet. I am not able to discern "lyrical foci" of "anarchism, feminism, anti-racism, and veganism" from these vocals ;) and song titles alone don't cut it. I can only assume "White Man's Burden" is a "critique", much like "Blood & Soil" on Postmodern Witchcraft. But could we read the critique? Tron Tron
"Raw, aggressive black metal with a nice touch of depressive and atmospheric elements and confrontational lyrics. Very promosing RABM solo project." Full text: shorturl.at/ghKY3 Antifascist Black Metal Network
Just a great album of antifascist black metal. Great for discovering new bands. A black metal cover of my favorite Anarchist songs too? Awesome. gaiebel
