The quiet city gnaws at me
As the last lights dim on the streets
Draped in shadows of those left behind
In active portions of grand designs,
in which we're to die
Designs which birthed fury,
savagery in wounded hearts
Rage of gentle men erupts
As visions of the future
Fall apart
There is no place of healing
It all falls apart
The bodies lie beneath cold sands
The sacrifices have no meaning
Swept away on blood-dimmed tides
One by one, every star
Ripped from the sky
Another sacrifice
Never again
In crumbling, charred-black husks
We lay our heads to rest
Foul and graceless overindulgence
Scatter those that remain
Amidst the sound of carrion birds
Laughing
They said they'd lead us to paradise
But this is no Eden
Amidst the sound of carrion birds
Laughing
Where only violence brings comfort
Ash and debris abound
Amidst the sound of carrion birds
Laughing
They said they'd lead us to paradise
But this is no Eden
There are no angels here
Amidst the sound of carrion birds
Laughing
What an absolutely beautiful album! This is what black metal really leads to; beautiful and powerful expressions of anger, mourning, and joy that lead to real change for those suffering! I can’t say enough good things about this album! The huge range of genres is incredible as well! deathmoth829
Vinyl sounds BIG and came with a whole care package from Fiadh, including cool stickers, download codes, a vegan brownie recipe and a squishy cloud toy that my kid loved. <3 But disappointed with no lyric sheet. I am not able to discern "lyrical foci" of "anarchism, feminism, anti-racism, and veganism" from these vocals ;) and song titles alone don't cut it. I can only assume "White Man's Burden" is a "critique", much like "Blood & Soil" on Postmodern Witchcraft. But could we read the critique? Tron Tron
"Raw, aggressive black metal with a nice touch of depressive and atmospheric elements and confrontational lyrics. Very promosing RABM solo project." Full text: shorturl.at/ghKY3 Antifascist Black Metal Network
Just a great album of antifascist black metal. Great for discovering new bands. A black metal cover of my favorite Anarchist songs too? Awesome. gaiebel
